It takes as much energy to hold out a helping hand as to point a finger.

The best remedy for a short temper is a long walk.

Old age is always 10 years older than you are.

The best way to reduce the number of hours spent in your garden or yard is to grow plants native to your area.

Drive-up bank windows were established so most of the cars today could see their real owners.

People are like pins, they are useless when they lose their heads.

You can knock the chip off the other person's shoulder simply by patting him on the back.

There are many questions no man can answer-----and many of them are asked by 5-year olds.

One of the best things that can be said about kitchen carpeting is that while you may still spill things, they don't splash as much.

Something is wrong when kids run wild and dogs are sent to obedience school.

It takes a really honest person to tell the difference between when they are tired and when they are just plain lazy.
