Life's most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?

The best way to distinguish between weeds and flowers is to cut them all down--those that come back are the weeds.

Quantity is what you can count. Quality is what you can count on.

Believe only half of what you hear, but make sure it is the right half.

The way some people find fault, you'd think there was a reward.

Forget your mistakes, but remember what they taught you.

The biggest fib in life used to be "The check's in the mail"... now it's "Push here to open."

Just about the time they plan to retire, some parents discover that the birds who left the nest are homing pigeons.

Letting the cat out of the bag is a lot easier than putting it back in.

Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

Utopia is the good old days plus all the modern conveniences.

I used to have a photographic memory, but I ran out of film.

One of the best things to have up your sleeve is a funny bone.

Walking isn't a lost art---one must by some means get to the garage.
