Our April meeting will feature Jonathan Hoffman, a curator at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, who will discuss the excavation of a mid‑Miocene whale discovered on a Santa Barbara County beach and explain how the fossil was collected and transported to the museum for further study.
Social time begins at 7pm and the meeting will start at 7:30. Members of the public are welcome. We hope to see you there!
